Mobile Visitor Centers

Our Visitor Centers are mobile and operate Wednesday-Sunday at set locations throughout Charlottesville and Albemarle County. The Mobile Visitor Centers run regularly from March to mid-December, with a two-week break from July 26th to August 8th. We strive to carry a wide variety of area brochures at our Mobile Visitor Centers.

Please note that our brick-and-mortar visitor centers in Charlottesville and Crozet have closed permanently. A small selection of visitor brochures can be found at the Albemarle County Office Building and the Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society. The Albemarle County Office Building is located at 401 McIntire Rd., Charlottesville, VA 22902. Brochures are located at the visitor entrance, Monday—Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Historical Society is located at 200 2nd St. NE, Charlottesville, VA 22902. Visitors can use the accessible garden entrance off E. Jefferson Street, Monday—Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Both buildings have access to restrooms during open hours.
