Spin-a-thon raises money to donate kid's bikes to Toy Lift Charities

Toy Lift Charities strives to make underprivileged children's wishes come true during the holiday season. If you remember the childhood magic of receiving the gift of a new bike, please help CRC bring that joy to disadvantaged kids in the Charlottesville area!

When: Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 10–6 p.m.

Where: In front of Zocolo by the fountain on the Downtown Mall

--We will have plenty of extra spin bikes available for those without indoors trainers

--You may bring your own rollers or indoor cycling trainer if you have one (power outlets are available)

Why should I sign up?

1. Help underprivileged children in the Cville area get a new bike for the holidays!

2. Fun activity for a good cause! Bring your whole family: there is a free family friendly safe trick-or-treat happening on the Cville downtown mall on the same day. Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged!

3. Turn exercise into charity!

How to sign up:

1. Reach out to a friend and agree on a time slot that works for both of you (More people = more fun!)

2. Sign up together for a time slot (at least 2 hours recommended)

3. Show up on time, ready to spin (don't forget your bike and trainer!)

4. HELP US CHEER! Positive energy is contagious and we get the greatest number of donations by interacting with pedestrians on the downtown mall and cheering when they donate

5. Reach out to your personal and professional networks (through word-of-mouth and on social media) to help raise money

6. Can't come? Please DONATE (donations are tax deductible)
